Tiger Wins!

Well Tiger Woods once again proved that on Sunday morning with a lead in a tournament he is as near to perfect as a professional golfer can be. Tiger entered Sundays round with a one shot lead and proceeded to stretch it to a three shot victory.

Tiger is now 47 of 50 when starting the final round with a lead and only one of those 3 loses is during a PGA event. Will Tiger be the first player in history to win 100 events? He is only 33 years old (34 in December) and has been a tour player since august 1996. The Victory on Sunday in the Buick Open was his 69th career victory as a professional, that's 5.3 victories per season! If Tiger can keep that pace up, he will have 100 career victories just before his 40th birthday.

Don't forget about his major victories. Tiger is currently 2nd in major victories only 3 behind Jack Nicklaus. That will no doubt change as well.

We should consider ourselves lucky to be living in a time when the greatest player in history is rewriting history every weekend. Sit back and enjoy the ride, it's going to be something to see.
